One Manual for Both Users and Service Technicians
The ABT-ICDG-1 is a desktop intercom station from Ambient System's range, designed for industrial and office facilities. The company needed a professional user manual to be supplied with the device and made available digitally. Requirements: a clear layout, intuitive navigation between sections, and support for both end users and service technicians.
Execution
Diagrams and Iconography Instead of Walls of Text
I designed the user manual in A5 format, prepared for both print and digital distribution as a PDF. The document covers: a description of the device's functions, installation diagrams, safe-operation guidelines, and service information. I used clear typography, a heading hierarchy, warning iconography, and technical diagrams. The page layout allows information to be found quickly, whether read linearly or used as a reference.
